30 bodies found in search area half the size of Los Angeles

Aviation and safety experts say the majority of the missing are likely together... still strapped in to the plane's main cabin.

Wednesday, an Indonesian search official told CNN he thought sonar equipment detected something that looked like the main fuselage at the bottom of the sea, but now search and rescue officials are backing off that statement.

CNN's Suzanne Malveaux has the latest details on the hunt for AirAsia 8501.

Nasty weather hampers AirAsia search

(CNN) - The array of ships, planes, helicopters, and divers looking for AirAsia Flight QZ8501 had to abort yesterday's search two hours early as heavy rain, wind, and towering waves shrouded the scene in a misty dark fog.

Efforts remain focused on the Karimata Strait where crews first spotted debris. Indonesian officials now say they think the plane's main fuselage might be there as well.

CNN's Suzanne Malveaux joins "The Lead" with the latest on the hunt for the wreckage.

Jeb Bush attacked after announcing possible 2016 run

(CNN) - The competition for the 2016 race for the White House heated up today.

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush took to Facebook to announce that he has decided to "actively explore the possibility of running for president of the United States."

CNN National Correspondent Suzanne Malveaux has more on the decision that has already sparked some sniping.

(CNN) - We got a new look at the presidency of George H. W. Bush through the eyes of his son today.

George W. Bush released his new book, "41: A Portrait of My Father," a tribute from one veteran to another on this Veterans Day. And it's not the only admiration shown for Bush 41.
