Despite skeptics, FBI insists North Korea behind hack

The White House and U.S. intelligence officials are standing by their assertion that North Korea was behind the cyber attack against Sony–despite evidence presented by outside experts this week that calls that into question, and in some cases implicates a former employee of the studio.

So what makes the FBI so sure North Korea was responsible? CNN's Pamela Brown reports.

Was Sony hack an inside job?

(CNN) - With many experts now doubting North Korea was behind the Sony Pictures hack, the FBI agents investigating the breach were briefed by a cyber security firm that did some reverse hacking of its own.

It says this may have been an inside job and not some army of cyber warriors loyal to dear leader. The feds, at least publicly, are saying there's still no doubt over who hacked Sony.

U.S. to blame North Korea for Sony cyberterror

(CNN) - A virtual terror attack with very real repercussions for U.S. national security.

Today, the Obama administration wouldn't say just who is responsible for the massive cyberattack of Sony pictures. But the government is getting closer and closer to confirming what CNN reported last night, with unnamed U.S. officials fingering North Korean hackers as the culprits.

Theaters cancel "The Interview" after threats

(CNN) - Before Sony officially announced its decision to postpone the release of "The Interview," nearly all major movie chains were giving into fears of security threats.
