(CNN) - Michael Brown's mother says hearing that a grand jury had decided not to indict the officer who killed her son felt like getting shot.
"We heard this and it was just like, like I had been shot. Like you shoot me now - just no respect, no sympathy, nothing," Lesley McSpadden told CNN's Sunny Hostin on Wednesday. "This could be your child. This could be anybody's child."

(CNN) - The Iraqi air force and fighters with the Kurdish peshmerga carried out a dramatic rescue mission Monday at Mount Sinjar, taking supplies to desperate Yazidis and bringing some on board the helicopter to make it safely out.
A CNN crew was on the flight that took diapers, milk, water and food to the site where thousands of people have been driven by ISIS, which calls itself the Islamic State.
CNN's Ivan Watson, who was on the chopper, described the mission as "heroic."

(CNN) - U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is worried about wholes that are greater than the sum of their parts.
Take, for instance, the current mix of bomb-makers from Yemen with foreign fighters in Syria.
"That's a deadly combination, where you have people who have the technical know-how along with the people who have this kind of fervor to give their lives in support of a cause that is directed at the United States and directed at its allies. And it's something that gives us really extreme, extreme concern," he told ABC's "This Week."

(CNN) – A list of those reported missing following a landslide in rural Washington state includes 108 names, emergency officials said Monday.
But that doesn't mean all of them were killed in Saturday's disaster north of Seattle, Snohomish County Emergency Management Director John Pennington said.
The official death toll remains at eight with seven others hurt, he said.
