(CNN) – In Kentucky, many predict Republican incumbent Mitch McConnell is not only poised to reclaim his Senate seat, but perhaps a promotion.
McConnell has prepared those two perfunctory speeches for tonight: victory and concession. But as CNN's Brianna Keilar reports, it wasn't the concession speech he was editing and finalizing today.

(CNN) – A new set of NBC News/Marist polls unveiled Sunday morning gave Republicans boosts in a key Senate race - Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's in Kentucky, where Democrats had hoped to pickup a seat.
But Democratic candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes is not giving up, and things got a little emotional in Kentucky over the weekend.
