Washington (CNN) – The politics of what happened in Ferguson dominated discussions at the White House today.
Not just the shooting itself, but the community and initial police response in August.
A new federal review released Monday looked into the $18 billion in resources handed down to local law enforcement nationwide. Some of it includes high-powered military weapons and tactical vehicles.
The issue of whether police forces are too militarized isn't in the headlines much recently, but it is one of the issues the President discussed with his team today.
