(CNN) – With fierce battles for territory, thundering political storms, and an uncertain fate for its inhabitants, the Senate is a real jungle this election season.
So in a voluntary bid for compromise, rival Senators Martin Heinrich, D-New Mexico, and Jeff Flake, R-Arizona, went to an actual jungle to see if negotiations were any easier there.
The duo's week of isolation was filmed by the Discovery Channel, for its new show "Rival Survival."
