(CNN) – Four in ten Americans surveyed in a new CNN/ORC poll say the federal government is doing a poor job in its response to the Ebola threat.
New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie – perhaps eyeing that opening – is staking out a tougher stance. But after releasing a nurse from quarantine in his state after three days, Christie is now trying to shake criticism from within his own party.
