(CNN) – Enhanced screening for Ebola at international airports in the D.C. region, Atlanta, Newark, and Chicago started Wednesday morning. New York's John F. Kennedy airport began enhanced screenings over the weekend.
The five major international airports are taking a careful look at anyone coming from three West African countries: Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea.
In the meantime, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is considering new ways to make sure someone infected with the deadly virus doesn't board a commercial plane.
CNN's René Marsh reports.
