(CNN) – Fifty-seven percent of the county disapprove of the way the President is handling foreign affairs, according to a new CNN/ORC poll - a tie for his all-time low in this category.
Over the weekend, Obama talked about calling ISIS a JV team in an interview with The New Yorker back in January.
"Ultimately we're going to defeat 'em," Obama told NBC's "Meet the Press."
That is a long way from when Obama described them as a JV team, NBC's Chuck Todd noted, asking the President "Was that bad intelligence or your misjudgment?"
"No, no, no," Obama said. "Keep in mind I wasn't specifically referring to ISIL. I've said that, regionally, there were a whole series of organizations that were focused primarily locally."
Even The Washington Post gives the White House "four Pinocchios" on this, a distinction they reserve only for "whoppers" according to fact-checker Glenn Kessler.
