Peaceful protests by day, mayhem at night in Ferguson

(CNN) – Since unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown was killed nine days ago there have been far too many scenes of looting in Ferguson.

Images shot Sunday night on closed-circuit TV at a local store show a crowd with no apparent compunction or remorse looting and stealing.

"When they couldn't break it, then (they) started shooting," Mumtaz Lalani, owner of Dellwood Market, who watched the feed from home.

Autopsy results enough to charge officer, Brown family attorney says

Ferguson, Missouri (CNN) - An autopsy conducted for the family of Michael Brown found no evidence that he struggled with a Ferguson, Missouri, police officer before his death, according to the pathologist in charge of the examination.

Dr. Michael Baden said no signs of a struggle were revealed in his autopsy of Brown's body, conducted after an official examination by the St. Louis County medical examiner's office.

And forensics consultant Shawn Parcells, who assisted Baden, said the findings are consistent with witness reports that Brown may have been shot as he walked away and that he was shot again with his hands up.

Pathologist who assisted in Michael Brown autopsy: There were no signs of struggle

(CNN) – An autopsy conducted for the family of Michael Brown found no evidence that he struggled with the officer that shot him before his death, according to pathologist Shawn Parcells, who assisted in the examination.

But he added that the team did not have access to a key element to reconstructing the shooting scene.

"When you are looking at an autopsy, you have the autopsy of the body and literally the autopsy of the crime scene. And the autopsy of the crime scene really hasn't been done yet," Parcells said in an interview with CNN's "The Lead with Jake Tapper."

Obama: Attorney General will travel to Ferguson

(CNN) – President Barack Obama says Attorney General Eric Holder will visit Ferguson on Wednesday to talk with FBI agents and community leaders about the investigation into the shooting death of unarmed teenager Micheal Brown.

Officer's version of Ferguson shooting revealed

(CNN) – The curfew has been called off, but the national guard has been called in after some of the worst violence yet between police and protesters inflamed over the fatal shooting of unarmed black 18-year-old Michael Brown by a white officer.
