Stocks on fire. Dow closes near 17,000
New York (CNNMoney) – As the second half of the year gets underway, investors are rushing onto the field ready to play hard.
The Dow jumped over 155 points (0.9%), while the S&P 500 is trading at a record of 1,976. The Nasdaq is also surging, up 1.3%. The Dow was less than 20 points away from crossing 17,000 for the first time ever.
