(CNN) – On Monday, the White House said it hadn't learned about the situation at the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Health Care system, in which as many as 40 veterans died while waiting for delayed appointments, until CNN first reported it.
But what about a recently disclosed internal memo from the VA, which warned of "inappropriate scheduling practices" way back in 2010? Who in the White House bothered to read it?
