How Disney films helped a boy with autism break through

(CNN) – When a father sees his son slip away he looks for answers wherever he can find them. What he didn't expect is that Disney movies, and more importantly the characters, would give him a connection with his autistic son he thought was gone forever. In his new book, "Life, Animated" author Ron Suskind recounts how Iago from "The Lion King" was just one example of how Disney brought his son back to him.

State Department claims Ukraine policy working

(CNN) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has totally brushed off the effectiveness of sanctions, but State Dept. spokeswoman Jen Psaki claims the sanctions are having an impact.

Obama visiting Asia with Ukraine teetering

(CNN) – A busload of 13 people, most of them military observers from Europe, were taken hostage by pro-Russia militants in an eastern Ukraine city held by separatists on Friday, according to Ukraine’s interior ministry.

This show of violence is an ominous sign that the situation inside that country is spinning out of control.

President Barack Obama again warned Russia of imminent consequences, but he did so at a time when much of his attention is taken up by his trip through Asia.
