Analyst: Search for Flight 370 is in a much more 'manageable haystack'

(CNN) – It is unclear if Tuesday's press conference from the Australian defense minister will answer key questions about the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, or just create more of them. One big question is over the fact that the pings detected by an Australian ship were at a frequency of 33.3 kHz, which is lower than the standard locator beacon frequency of 37.5 kHz.

Does that cast more doubt on whether this signal is coming from the flight data and cockpit voice recorders of Flight 370?

Submersible specialist and president of Tiburon Subsea Services Captain Tim Taylor, former director of the Federal Aviation Administration's office of accident investigation Steve Wallace, and CNN aviation analyst and science correspondent for PBS Newshour Miles O'Brien discuss.
