(CNN) – A new look at the inner workings of the Clinton White House emerged Friday, with the National Archives and Records Administration releasing a first batch of confidential memos and papers.

(CNN) – Actor Seth Rogen slammed senators for ignoring not only his personal pleas for more Alzheimer's funding and research, but those of a former colleague.
"I could totally understand if they didn't want to hear the testimony of a stoner, idiot, actor," Rogen told CNN's "The Lead with Jake Tapper."
"Honestly, to me the most distressing thing is another (lawmaker), who these guys actually knew, was talking about how he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's," said Rogen, referring to the testimony of former Congressman Dennis Moore.
Researchers and statisticians also testified, detailing the financial toll of Alzheimer's, and "they still couldn't be bothered to hang around to hear it," said Rogen.
Simferopol, Ukraine (CNN) - Political tension roiled in Ukraine's Crimea region Friday, as U.S. officials received assurances that Russian military activities there were routine and not intended as a threat to Ukraine sovereignty.
At the same time, Ukrainian officials grappled with rising secessionist passions in the Russian-majority region and faced major disruptions to airport and communications services.
The region's airspace was closed Friday. Further, the government accused Russian Black Sea forces of trying to seize two airports in Crimea but said Ukrainian security forces had prevented them from taking control.
