(CNN) - Has Secretary of State John Kerry split from the administration's official stance on Syria? Kerry returned late Sunday from a trip to Munich, Germany, where he spoke at a security conference, and met with officials from Israel and the Ukraine.
He also sat down with more than a dozen members of a bipartisan congressional delegation in a closed door meeting, and gave a frank assessment of the situation in Syria. After the meeting, Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham told reporters that Kerry said the U.S. has to change its strategy on Syria.
"Kerry tells senators that Obama Syria policy is collapsing," was the headline for reporter Jeffrey Goldberg's column on Bloomberg View. He joined "The Lead" to discuss the latest developments.
