(CNN) - Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter Adam Lanza may have called a radio show nearly a year before his rampage, drawing parallels between a Connecticut chimpanzee that mauled a woman in 2009 and a "teenage mall shooter or something like that," according to a report published Thursday in the New York Daily News.
"You would not listen to this and say, this is a red flag, I'm concerned this person would commit violence," said psychiatrist Gail Saltz, author of "Anatomy of a Secret Life."
"Even psychiatrists who have patients in their office who would say something like this can't necessarily predict who will actually go on to commit a violent act, because the vast majority of them will not," said Saltz.

(CNN) - Actresses Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts received Oscar nods for their roles in "August: Osage County," a film featuring a famous ensemble cast with Juliette Lewis, Benedict Cumberbatch, and the lucky man that gets to play Julia Roberts' husband: Ewan McGregor.
So what's it like to be cheating on America's sweetheart?
"That was the writing I got given to play, you know, so that wasn't my choice," McGregor said with a laugh.

(CNN) - Actor Ewan McGregor has singing chops - fans will remember his role in the musicals "Moulin Rouge," and "Here's to Love." More recently, he sang at a charity event for UNICEF alongside singer Robbie Williams.
"I love it," says McGregor. "It's a rare thing that you get asked to sing, and it's just quite a ballsy thing to do, there's a great deal of courage involved getting up to sing live."
The "August: Osage County" star said he would welcome more opportunities to sing for the big screen, he recently starred in a stage production of the musical "Guys and Dolls" in London.
"It's a great, freeing thing to sing, I love it," said McGregor.
