U.S. warns North Korea against 'huge mistake'
Secretary of State John Kerry said Friday that North Korea would be making a "huge mistake" if it goes ahead with a missile launch that could happen any minute.
Kerry is attending talks in Seoul, which is only about 31 miles from the demilitarized zone, or DMZ, that separates South Korea from North Korea. "It is a huge mistake for him to choose to do that, because it will further isolate this country and further isolate his people," said Kerry on Friday.
The secretary warns that the U.S. will not tolerate North Korea as a nuclear power, but he also says the U.S. will consider resuming talks with Pyongyang if leader Kim Jong Un gives up his nuclear ambitions.
