(CNN) – A-19-year old from the Chicago area stood in court accused of trying to join ISIS Monday.
Federal authorities say Mohammed Hamzah Khan was arrested at O'Hare international airport over the weekend as he tried to board a plane to Vienna en route to Turkey, with plans to eventually join the merciless terror group in Syria.
Authorities say they also searched his home, and found what could be a road map to his radicalization. The criminal complaint says Khan praised ISIS in writings and even drawings.

Former executive assistant director of the FBI Shawn Henry, now president of Crowdstrike, joins CNN's "The Lead with Jake Tapper" to discuss.
