Yet after a number of deaths in their ranks, protesters in Venezuela once again took to the streets to demand better security, an end to scarcities and protected freedom of speech.
The government reflects these complaints back on the opposition like a mirror. Shortages? Unrest? Violence? This is the doing of a corrupt opposition in cahoots with the United States, it says.
